Champagne Th. Petit

The Petit family’s winemaking journey began in the early 20th century when Théophile Petit started producing Champagne after the 1929 crisis. He sold his wine by cart and even shipped it to Paris by barge. Following his passing, his son André took over in 1948.

To honor Théophile’s contributions to local winemakers during WW II, André co-founded the Saint Réol cooperative in 1960 and later the Union de Propriétaires d’Ambonnay to share agricultural equipment. Thanks to these efforts, the estate is now certified High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture. The name "Th. Petit" pays tribute to its founder, and the labels still feature ancient columns and a shooting star, a nod to Halley’s Comet, which passed over Champagne in 1910.

For four generations, the Petit family has blended tradition and innovation to craft complex, characterful Champagnes. Their expertise and passion continue to define their legacy.

Champagne André Chemin

In 1948, André and Micheline Chemin began their winemaking journey in Sacy, joining the Écueil Cooperative to refine their production while preserving creative control. Their son Jean-Luc modernized operations in the 1970s, blending tradition with innovation.

Today, Sébastien and Eva propel the house forward with ambition and craftsmanship. Committed to sustainability, they have banned pesticides since 2010 and tailored vineyard practices to their terroir. Sacy remains central, with surrounding villages enriching their champagnes’ complexity.

Sébastien values perfect timing—each blend is released at peak maturity. Champagne André Chemin continues to honor tradition while pushing boundaries.
