6 bottles JL Vergnon
vintage 2012
Champagne JL Vergnon
Nestled in Mesnil sur Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Maison JL Vergnon spans five generations of family heritage. Originally the Regnault brothers' headquarters, it passed to Jean-Louis Vergnon, who revitalized the vineyards in 1950 to craft exceptional Chardonnay Champagnes. His dedication led to recognitions from the Guide Hachette des Vins for his inaugural Extra-Brut.

Didier Vergnon, taking over in 1999, continues this legacy with passion, supported by his son Clément and partner Charlotte. Their vineyard spans diverse terroirs, primarily in Mesnil sur Oger, Oger and Avize, Grand Cru villages, as well as Premier Cru villages Vertus and Villeneuve. With old vines averaging over thirty years, their meticulous management ensures Champagne consistency.

Committed to environmental preservation, they employ sustainable practices, abstaining from herbicides for over a decade and minimizing treatments.

Champagne Bernard Brémont
Ambonnay, in the southeastern Montagne de Reims, is a Grand Cru village known for its chalky soils, abundant sunlight, and primarily Pinot Noir grapes. These elements produce esteemed champagnes with finesse and unique character. The name Ambonnay likely originates from "bonne haie," linked to a royal forest where Roman officer Amboniacus is said to have planted the first vines.
Champagne Bernard BRÉMONT, a family-owned house founded in 1965 by Michèle and Bernard BRÉMONT, passes down its know-how through generations. Honoring the legacy of Les BEURYS, the inaugural vineyard plot cultivated by the founders of the house, a distinctive cuvée has been dedicated in its memory. Their commitment to respecting nature, embracing sustainable vineyard practices, and preserving biodiversity is deeply embedded in their lifestyle philosophy.
This harmonious balance between the land and the craft of winemaking propels them to continuously refine and innovate, yielding heartfelt, profound, and generously authentic cuvées.
